Our History
Since the launch of Flower Power in 2023, our mission has remained unchanged: to provide mothers (and loved ones) with the flowers they truly deserve. Too often, we wait until someone is gone to honor them with their due appreciation.
That’s why we set out to create a unique experience that allows families to celebrate and cherish the heartbeats of their homes. None of us would be here without our mothers; the seeds they’ve planted in our hearts are the very reason for the abundance we experience in our lives.
Now it’s our turn to nurture their garden.

Angelique Connor-Edeko and Isimeme Edeko are a dynamic mother-daughter duo based in Chicago, IL. Isimeme has spent 9 years as a dedicated full-time content creator, building a vibrant community of over 1 million supporters across her platforms. She is celebrated for her eclectic style, infectious energy, and impactful contributions to the Natural Hair community. Mama Edeko, a retired educator with over 48 years of experience, continues to champion the power of education. Known for her radiant presence, she uplifts every room she enters. Together, they are on a powerful mission to strengthen the bonds between generations.

2023 was our seed year. With no prior experience hosting a fashion show, we diecided to put our
mustard seed faith to the test and bring to life the very first Pre-Mother's Day Fashion Show.

2024 focused on watering our new garden. We decided to switch things up and build upon the momentum of year one by incorporating a theme: Disco Divas. We encouraged all our attendees to embrace the groove of the 70's and 80's era, and they did not disappoint. We energy in the room was palpable!
